New Mixed Breed Program There will be no separate mixed breed classes at agility or obedience/rally trials.  Mixed breeds will compete with purebred dogs in the same classes and for the same titles.  Mixed breeds will be allowed to enter any agility or obedience/rally trial, including those associated with conformation, if the club elects it.  Mixed breed dogs are known as 'Canine Partners' in the AKC.

New AKC Jump Height Card Policy, effective 1/1/10
Height cards will no longer need to be included with entries or shown to the secretary.  If your dog does not have a valid height card, you will be required to mark a box on your entry form (see Generic Entry Forms below). The secretary will only track those dogs marked as not having a valid height card for the trial, and those dogs must be measured at the trial. It is the exhibitor's responsibility to request measurement. If you do not have a valid height card for a trial and do not get measured by a VMO (if present), any qualifying runs you earn will be diisallowed.   More Info
